I love problems.  Few things are more satisfying than relieving pain, or restoring range
of motion.  Please forgive my confidence but I am really good at this.  I have two full size
model skeletons in my house.  One is literally buckets of bones.  The other is an upright
with a flexible spine.  I also have ligament bound models of the foot, knee and shoulder.
I have six life size anatomical charts spanning a seventeen foot wall.  These are only
the more visible indications of my obsession with anatomy.  Yes I am the biggest nerd in
the world.  This knowledge in conjunction with my wrestling and dance experience has
given me a kinesiological advantage.  I know the musculoskeletal and viseral body very
well.

Massage can sometimes be like a magic bullet making everything right in one session.
Massage can resolve several problems and is beneficial to most.  The effectiveness of
your massage depends largely on your therapist and the cause of the problem.  I can
tell you the probability of your problem being resolved by my work.

When a problem has been with you for a long time it is unlikely that one massage will
make it all go away.  Massage can be an effective mechanism for coping with this sort
of problem.  If you want to try for a full resolution of your problem I can talk you through
your options.  Some times massage is enough.  In the worst case scenario you may
have to endure exercises, change your ergonomics, lower your stress, sleep more, eat
right, wait to be reincarnated as a jelly fish or talk to your doctor.

Even if you are not in pain and there is no discomfort you will still benefit from this
massage.  Your massage will help prevent injury.  The value of preventative medicine is
difficult to exaggerate.  Your massage will also increase you performance.  Your
muscles will be more efficient giving you more power and endurance.  Even if you do
not have a tension headache a tense neck and shoulders will take a toll on your ability
to concentrate.

There are a lot of good reasons to blend this massage with a softer more calming and
relaxing massage.  There are also good reasons why you might want a purely sterile,
clinical massage.  You can let me know your preference or just go along for the ride.

The pictures below are of me in my bedroom from 2005.
